Traveling Home after an Awesome Trip

It’s been an amazing trip over the last 15 days and we have enjoyed and experienced some awesome places on the East Coast of America – Science Tour.

The group of 39 have returned back home safely, but not without a few miracles along the way!

Just to mention a few –

  • In Boston, I assumed the wrong theatre with some of the group and then got lost trying to find the Charles Theatre – the theatre sent someone to find us and found us within the big city. – we were only slightly late, but all worked out well!
  • The girls survived just crossing the roads – with traffic traveling on the right side of the road they seemed to to always look the wrong way!
  • There were quite a few cases of cell phones being left behind and being found and returned – one particular case was in Mystic Sea Port where a phone was dropped in the historic village. We ran back and randomly asked a couple if they had possibly seen a phone and they had just picked it up!
  • Rachel’s soft toy (Dori the donkey), was left in New York at the hotel. We managed to contact the hotel and find the toy to get it couriered to Washington in time. (Dori had also once been left in Paris and sent back to SA).
  • All the bags arrived safely on the trip. In Durban however, the one bag was accidentally taken by another passenger with the identical suitcase. The airport managed to contact the person who turned back and returned the bag.

Give thanks to God for His protection and guidance throughout the trip!
